Blimey!

Well, still stranded out in scenic Weedsport, NY. Just been restarting my game of Fallout 3 (awesome game, by the by) in the interim since a damned bug (coding, not in-game) fucked my current game all to heck. Also, reading some Darwyn Cooke-flavored Batman, Cerebus, The Haunted Tank and listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks. In other words, ACHIEVING MAXIMUM GEEKINESS. Throw in some internet mashups with rap and indie artists and you've reached geek overload. OH SNAP, I ALREADY DID.

In any case, I don't remember where I was going with this now...

Oh, right. So, perusing this 'ol blog I became aware of a couple of things: 1) This baby needs a facelift because, 2) This baby has been going strong (well, not strong, but going) since 2005. I don't have the gumption to do that right now, but by the end of the year look for some streamlining of the site. I got this baby rolling before most of the current services for Blogger existed, so I'm still doing by hand a lot of stuff that can be automated to a) be easier and b) be cleaner looking. Is this just naval gazing? Well, partially. But I also think this is a statement of renewed commitment to the process, and frankly, that's a good thing. While this blog is pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, I think the long lack of being able to present anything on this blog except sporadically relfected on a lot of personal strife and lack of direction that had been plaguing me for the last handful of years. Am I in the clear? I don't really think so, but I've come to the conclusion that I'm on the right track and that's a good thing.

I'll post some comic stuff ASAP so we can get this mushy stuff bumped down.
